| Root first | A stronger root system helps plants to access water and nutrients where it matters. |
|---|---|
| Stress resilience | Amino acids and peptides support crop vitality under stress conditions: heat and drought, cold and frost, soil salinity, phytotoxicity and transplant stress. |
| Nutrient use efficiency | Amino acids are effective complexing agents that stimulate nutrient uptake and translocation within the plant. |
| Crop quality | Balanced nutrition supports growth, fruit development and harvest quality. |
| Crop | Stage | Benefits |
|---|---|---|
| Fruits | Vegetative resumption | Stimulates shoot greening and root growth. |
| Flowering | Improves pollination and fertility. | |
| Fruit setting | Promotes fruit setting and reduces dropping. | |
| Fruit growth | In tank mix with Ca and/or K to improve quality. | |
| Nutrition deficiencies and stress situations | Preventive foliar treatments, or immediately after the stress event. | |
| Industrial crops (tomato, potato, etc.) | Vegetative stagePre- and post-floweringFruit growth | Promotes vegetative growth, fruit growth and quality. |
| Horticultural crops | Apply regularly every 12–15 days along the crop cycle. | Promotes vegetative growth, fruit growth and quality. |
| Extensive crops | Tillering stage (cereals)Vegetative stage (soybean) | Improves shoot number and yield; helps the action of plant protection products. |

Founded in 2005, AKEL LEATHER built its expertise in collagen from tanned bovine hides, before extending that production knowledge into circular bio-nutrition.
Committed to sustainability and minimizing waste, the company has produced animal-origin hydrolysed protein since 2010. Hydrolysed protein is a controlled mixture of free amino acids and low molecular weight peptides, available in both liquid and solid forms.
In 2020, AKEL relocated its operations to a 6,400 m² facility in the Bursa Leather Organized Industrial Zone. Its two production units—the tannery, specialising in split suede, and the liquid amino acid manufacturing plant—are both located within Bursa’s industrial area but operate as separate facilities.
